Compare like-for-like losses
Compare guaranteed losses at the same rating and reference temperature. Xinguang’s historical SC(B)10 table shows why: its 800 kVA row lists 1.520 kW no-load and 6.953 kW load loss, the 1,000 kVA row 1.768 kW and 8.126 kW, and the 1,250 kVA row 2.088 kW and 9.690 kW, all with load loss stated at 120 °C. Ask each bidder for its current guarantee on that same basis instead of comparing a quotation with an old catalogue row.
