POWER TRANSFORMER SOURCING

Xinguang SC(B)10 1000 kVA catalogue row

Model specifications, source documentation and manufacturer contact.

Single capacity row · historical cast-resin catalogue

The useful detail in Xinguang's SC(B)10 1,000 kVA record is its capacity-specific loss table, including a stated 120 °C load-loss reference. Read it separately from the SC(B)11 table and from the manufacturer's broader construction and installation descriptions.

Read the 1,000 kVA SC(B)10 row

These values come from the SC(B)10 table. The SC(B)11 table further down the same page is a separate design reference.

The two loss columns measure different conditions. Keep their units and reference data when transferring the table into a tender or a comparison spreadsheet. The 120 °C statement belongs to load loss; it is not an operating-temperature guarantee or the maximum room temperature.

A primary voltage has not been fixed in the structured record because the shared cell lists several options. Ask for a named voltage ratio, frequency, tap range and connection group on the proposed rating sheet. A common cell in the table does not establish that all combinations are currently supplied.

02

Separate the construction description from the guarantees

The manufacturer's SC(B)10 description discusses resin-cast high-voltage coils, a foil-form low-voltage winding, a stepped silicon-steel core arrangement and temperature monitoring. These are published design descriptions, not an orderable bill of materials. A foil winding does not by itself identify its conductor metal, material grade or the construction of the other winding.

The page mentions F-class insulation in its high-voltage-coil narrative and H-class values in its technical description. Do not combine those statements into a verified insulation class for the unit you intend to buy. Ask the supplier to return the complete insulation-system classification, temperature-rise limits and test evidence for the chosen design.

03

Define cooling, enclosure and room conditions together

The technical description lists natural-air and forced-air cooling, with enclosure options rather than one universal installation package. State whether the quotation needs a fan system, temperature controller, alarms and an enclosure, and ask which continuous rating applies to the selected cooling condition. A fan-equipped option does not establish extra continuous capacity for every unit.

The SC(B)10 section describes indoor use, ambient temperature no higher than 40 °C and altitude no higher than 1,000 m. Give the supplier the actual room layout, ventilation conditions and exposure. The same source's broad application list and moisture claims do not replace an installation-specific suitability assessment.

  1. Freeze the electrical choice

Confirm the voltage ratio, frequency, connection and taps, then obtain the current rating sheet for that configuration.

  2. Freeze the supplied package

Name the enclosure, cooling arrangement, temperature monitor, alarm contacts and terminal interfaces required.

  3. Approve the site interfaces

Request the final dimensions, weight, access clearances and installation/ventilation instructions before fixing the room design.

04

Ask for a current proposal, not a catalogue-price estimate

This page cites historical standards and does not establish current production availability, a purchase price or lead time. Specify the applicable requirements for your destination and ask the maker to identify its currently offered design. Keep the historical catalogue loss row visible as a reference, but obtain fresh guarantees and matched reports before procurement.

Ask bidders to price the same 1,000 kVA configuration and the same supplied package. Cooling accessories, enclosure, tests, packing, transport and on-site work should be itemized. Request the currency, trade term, quotation date and validity instead of importing a price for a different dry-type transformer.

For delivery, request separate dates for approved drawings, manufacturing, testing, release and arrival at the named destination. State which acceptance documents are required before shipment and which event starts the quoted lead time.

Q&A

Buyer questions

Is 8.126 kW stated at the room temperature?

No. The original table explicitly gives a 120 °C load-loss reference. The installation ambient limit is a separate catalogue condition.

Can I use the SC(B)11 performance table for this product?

No. This record is the SC(B)10 1,000 kVA row. The two tables have separate design references and performance values.

Does the foil-winding description prove copper windings?

No. It describes the low-voltage winding form without establishing the full proposed unit's conductor materials. Ask for winding materials on the returned rating sheet.

Does the historical record prove the product is still available?

No. Confirm the current model, configuration, guarantees and schedule in a new proposal.
