Series reference · rail traction rectifier transformer
Daqo’s ZQSCB is described for the transformer stage of an urban-rail traction rectifier system, with 12- or 24-pulse arrangements. Specify it with the rectifier and traction duty together: the listed 0.59/1.18 kV secondary choices are transformer voltage references, not a published guaranteed DC output schedule for a complete substation.

Locate the transformer in the rectifier package
The manufacturer describes the series as linking grid AC to the traction DC supply through rectification. The reviewed product table specifies a dry-type transformer. It does not define a complete rectifier supply scope, DC current rating, traction voltage guarantee or substation protection package. Identify who supplies the rectifier, transformer, controls and integration tests.
The page lists connection groups Dy11d0, Dy1d2 (±7.5°), Dy5d0 and Dy7d2 (±7.5°). These are published options rather than a universal connection. Ask the system designer and maker to agree the winding arrangement and phase displacement required by the selected pulse scheme. Do not assign a connection to a pulse count from this family list alone.

Specify the actual traction and rectifier duty
Provide the rectifier supplier’s input requirements, single-line diagram and traction duty profile. Ask the transformer maker to confirm the corresponding winding ratings, current waveform assumptions, overload cycle, thermal limits and cooling arrangement. The family capacity ceiling does not define a usable DC traction power for every voltage or pulse configuration.
The overview claims low losses, low partial discharge and resistance to short-circuit and grid impacts, without selected-unit numerical results. Request guaranteed losses and reference temperature, harmonic-duty assumptions, temperature-rise evidence and the short-circuit requirements agreed for the project. General claims should not stand in for the traction-system acceptance schedule.
Agree the interfaces
Match the rectifier input, transformer secondary connections and phase scheme on approved diagrams.
Agree service conditions
Provide traction load cycles, room environment and cooling restrictions; obtain an explicit duty guarantee.
Agree coordinated acceptance
Separate transformer factory tests from rectifier and integrated-system tests, assigning responsibility for each.

Read the voltage-specific insulation entries
The table maps 10 kV to LI75AC35/AC3, 20 kV to LI125AC50/AC3 and 35 kV to LI170AC70/AC3. Keep that mapping visible and ask for the complete winding-specific dielectric schedule on the returned rating sheet. F- and H-class insulation are listed as family choices; the proposed unit needs one defined insulation system and temperature-rise limit.
Indoor installation is the stated operating setting. Obtain enclosure, ventilation, terminal layout, service clearances, controller and alarm requirements for the chosen unit. The source names JB/T10693-2007 and GB/T1094.11-2022; those listed references are not a certificate or a complete determination of project compliance. Request the applicable requirement list and report scope for the ordered design.

Price the integration scope and handover
Ask the quotation to identify whether the supply is a transformer alone, a coordinated transformer-and-rectifier package or a broader station package. Specify terminals, buses/cables, temperature monitoring, enclosure, cooling, packing, installation support and integrated commissioning. A price for a general distribution transformer cannot establish a comparable price for this traction duty.
No verified price or lead time is available for the selected arrangement. Request currency, trade terms, dated validity and exclusions, then separate drawing/interface approval, manufacturing, factory tests, rectifier integration, shipment and site acceptance. State the event starting lead time and the destination; factory completion is not the same milestone as a commissioned traction supply.

Buyer questions
Is 1.18 kV a guaranteed DC traction voltage?
The technical table labels it as a low-voltage transformer option. Obtain the separate rectifier/DC system schedule.
Does every connection support both pulse schemes?
No configuration mapping is given. The system designer and supplier must agree winding phase relationships for the selected scheme.
Does the product price include the rectifier?
No verified quotation or complete supply boundary was established. Require an explicit package scope.
Are generic dry-type tests sufficient?
Agree the traction duty and transformer, rectifier and integrated-system acceptance separately; match each report to its equipment scope.
